POTUS approves weapons shipment to Ukraine. Amazing if true.

I was waiting to learn what President Trump's plan was.
Now we know.
1. Mineral/Investment deal with Ukraine
2. Russia withdraws from peace talks
Trump can now do what he darn well pleases!
Like selling arms to Ukraine!

As the fictional Colonel Hannibal Smith would say...

What he needs to do is changes the rules of behavior where any weapons purchased by Ukraine come with no strings attached and they can damn well do as they please including blowing up whatever they want in Russia. Until the Russia public sees pain in Russia they will continue to believe the propaganda that everything is going as planned.

Trump needs to send Mr T to negotiate with Putin

It's a 50 million usd arms sale to Ukraine

Trump is petty and mercurial. Russia may come to regret not taking his olive branch.

If things start to move in the direction of Trump taking an anti-Putin position, I hope Zelensky has the good sense to take advantage of it and ingratiate himself to the Trump administration.

Now how will this pan out...possibly trying to ban one of the biggest political parties in Germany......

Far right isn't enough. Now it's "extreme right". With a lesbian leader of course, like all "extreme right wing" groups.

Well stated sir.

I think the mineral deal is one way of doing it.
Maybe, or a start.

Either way, Zelensky is going to have to learn how to deal with Trump as he is. It may not be how I would want it but Trump is not an Eisenhower.

I’m hoping this signals a chance for a reset in their relationship.

Trump is also a hothead, which could work in Ukraine’s favor. If Putin pisses Trump off enough, he may be willing to allow the Ukrainians more leeway with the usage of weapons than Biden did.

I guess we’ll have to see.

$50M is a start.. but honestly doesnt add up to a whole lot on today's battlefield when what Ukraine needs is things like more patriot batteries, (about $1.1B for the vehicle and a single load of missiles).. and ATACMS (price tag of about $1.5M every time the trigger is pulled)..

When that number gets a B behind it we'll know POTUS is serious about military support to Ukraine.. as long as the trailing letter is an M.. we're barely selling them enough to keep their conventional artillery fueled..

I think a key thing to note however is we are now SELLING Ukraine munitions, information, systems, etc.. as opposed to gifting things to them... Im assuming the mineral deal is how they intend on paying for things.. but.. that's a major change..

Audio of this lunatic admitting Obrego Garcia wasn't shy about smacking her around.

I hope the POS never sets foot in the US again.

Are @jruby and co still going to bat for this guy?

It’s "$50 millon or more" as stated in the article - the dollar amount is unknown.

$50 million is the threshold for notification to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations as required by law.

If it's $50 million dollars worth of 6.5 Creedmoor, the war will be over with in a day! :E Happy:

So you loose your seat in Canada and you can just take someone else’s seat in another district  Learn something new every day. From Poilievere.

It is with humility and appreciation that I have accepted Damien Kurek’s offer to resign his seat in Battle River-Crowfoot so that I can work to earn the support of citizens there to serve them in Parliament.

Damien’s selfless act to step aside temporarily as a Member of Parliament shows his commitment to change and restoring Canada’s promise.

I will work to earn the trust of the good people of Battle River-Crowfoot and I will continue to hold the Liberal minority government to account until the next federal election, when we will bring real change to all Canadians

I'm still scratching my head on whether this is real.
Apparently the CIA released open recruitment videos in China during their holiday to recruit people to spy for them.

This is intriguing and bold.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
