Two plus weeks for the waiting period to cool my heels, but got it home today. Looks pretty nice. It has had some work done to it.
Rifle was bedded professionally in what may be Marine Tex, it probably was done in Alaska so that would make sense. Has a nice Timney trigger, a Pachy Decelerator pad and the bolt shroud was swapped out to house a 2-position flag safety in place of the slider on the right, which I actually prefer, not that big a fan of side flag safeties on the shroud but I can live with it.
Rifle dates to 5/85 and SN is in the B280*** range, a bit later than my .375, and this 7mm was made the year of my first safari to Tanzania.
It holds 5 down and feeds, extracts/ejects all 5 smoothly. It came with some lever mounts on bases so I mounted an older Nikon 3-9 that I have used on several rifles and its a good one; why I keep it around.
Hope to shoot it next Thursday.
A couple of pics.

Nice looking rifle and I'll bet will shoot as good as it looks!

Fantastic rifle, and looks like yours has been properly squared away. I've got a cousin to this rifle in the form of an Interarms Mark X Cavalier 7x57 made in 1975, also with a Nikon 3-9 scope. It's a great rifle in terms of fit, finish, and function.

Incidentally I also have two Whitworth Express 375H&Hs that look to have been made right before and right after yours. I love these rifles, and congratulations!

One can hope. Actually I would be surprised if it wasnt a good shooter. Had more than a few of these Mark X/Whitworth rifles and all have been good shooters, even the used Euro imports, marked M70.

This is very similar to my Mark X Whitworth 7x57. Where your rifle has "Whitworth" markings, mine says "Mark X" but the rest is the same insofar as markings. My rifle has a schnabel foregrip but still has the barrel band sling attachment.

Yours is a custom stock, not factory.

Nice solid rifles

I have a Mark X that looks very similar except that it says Mark X on the receiver instead of Whitworth. It only says Whitworth on the recoil pad. It has the same case hardened grip cap and a three leaf rear sight. The wood looks very similar as does the cheek piece.

Interesting. usually the express sights are only the .375 and .458 cals. Wonder if it was put on post factory, to make it more classic.

I have owned two Whitworths and enjoyed them both! You get a lot of rifle for your money. congratulations!!!!

Had my new one to the range now and its looks quite promising with just one load tried.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
