I am curious as my wife was laughing at me this morning. Am I the only one that likes to do a "boudoir shoot" of any new firearms you purchase? Maybe it is just me but I like the vintage look and to me adds to the overall experience for me in appreciating a firearm, quite honestly, I never thought I would have the opportunity to own.

No pictures for me. I like nice firearms but not enough to buy one (yet). Albeit @VertigoBE is doing his best to change that :ROFLMAO: . They are just tools to do the job for me at this moment. Everytime I think about buying a nice one, my mind thinks about what I can hunt for the same amount of money and then it passes.

My to go to shotgun is a cheap Baikal. My rifle a Zastava in 375 h&h made in what was then still Yugoslavia. And my new acquisition is a second hand Heym in 7x64.

Before the 7x64 I just shot about everything with my 375 (i.e. foxes, roe deer).

Never knew that roe deer could set a step after being shot ;) Never happened with the 375, but with the 7x64 a little bit of tracking afterwards is sometimes needed.

No, you’re not the only one or the only one that has a wife that laughs.

I frequently look through internet images of safari rifles too.

I haven't really done this but I have thought about it. I eo occasionally try to take photos focusing on the gun while out hunting.

It takes good taste to set right the gun, objects around and so...
One day I will do something like that with mines.

I do, take photos of guns and knives.

Also keep a record of serial numbers, date of purchase , if sold, to whom and when.
 
Nice photos. Someone paid attention in photography class....... or has a ton of experience. :)
 
I take no pictures of my firearms to be shared in public. That's from living in a country that is pro firearm banning laws, even that they are all legally acquired (or once were until the federal govt changed the rules and definitions).Sorry Kevin Peacocke (from an earlier request.

I try to do cool ones but my only photography training is a 1/4 credit university class.

I do have nicer stuff now but maybe I will try again
 
I only photograph my guns for insurance purposes. I live in a hurricane prone area so it’s almost a necessity. I also have them on a separate insurance policy as our homeowners insurance only covers up to $1000 I think.
@Safariswestcam those are beautiful rifles !!!
