  • Hey my friend don't take things so seriously! On these forums etc one cannot assume that everyone is on it every day! I just happen to have time on my hands now (bored actually) so give my 5 c worth here often!
I am glad you chose to honour your father! I lost mine at an early age and missed all the adventure so I do envy you!
I wish you good luck in your venture and always remember that your integrity is your biggest asset!
    Kind regards
    Ernie
Hey Ole Bally! I dont know if you received my response to your pvt message to me where you asked me what HDP stands for? I must have sent the response in the incorrect manner on this forum because I was still very very new at the time and was still getting to know the ins and outs of the way to use the forum. I see that my response to your message is actually posted as a seperate discussion between me and myself!

HDP stands for Herman Dominikus Peacock, the name of my late father. He was very passionate about adventure, fishing, and particularly hunting, but was always bogged down by work, he was an engineer. His last mission was to hunt buffalo and other plains game in East Africa, but his time was cut short.

Sorry mate, I know I must have seemed like an insensitive person or something but it was actually that I did respond to your message almost immediately but I sent in the incorrect way ie I started another discussion with myself ha ha! A bit embarrasing but i hope you see me now as open, and not some idiot who doesnt respond to people!

    All the best!

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
