A Drink For After the Hunt!

I am only home for a little over a month from RSA. While there I was introduced to Amarula. This is a wonderful liquor. I have since found it at home (Fargo, ND) and have come up with a drink called a Bushbuck (I named it). In a blender add some crushed ice, 4-5 scoops of vanilla ice cream, a squirt of chocolate syrup, half a ripe banana, 1-2 shots of rum and fill her up with Amarula and blend. A great summer drink and a little reminder of good times spent drinking Amarula at the fire pit! Enjoy!

I will run that one by my wife when I get home tonight warbird .iwas introduced to amarula while in Africa and got my wife a bottle which has been replaced a couple time since then .
she doesn't drink bugger all but when she gets that stuff out she always has a couple .

That sounds like a great export from RSA. My wife has a few bottles of Amarula in the cupboard here in Oz.

Here's my tipple... Also known as 'Poofta Hill' or 'Broke back Mountain' Rum.

and the jaeger bombs used to be favorite of mine doco

they will still use it against you, they are female after all and never forget anything!!!! and i am very happy you are growing up and moving onto grey goose. jaeger bombs are for kids and are bloody revolting!!!!!cant stand redbull :vomit: warbird i will give your cocktail recipe to my wife, as she is prone to working her way through cocktail lists when she finds a bar with a good one. code4 that is a good choice in Bajan rum , a mount gay and coke is very good is good, and it seems to taste even better if you drink it in barbados. mind you it should taste good in zambia as well :beer:

Here's a couple more to try out....careful they will sneak up on you.

Zimbabwe Bulldog - Vodka, Kalua, milk, a little more Vodka, a splash of Coke over ice.....maybe just a little more Vodka.

Mbogo Mudslide - 1/3 each of Kalua, Vodka & Baileys Irish Cream, pour over ice and enjoy.

On a side note....if you can find it "Tequila Rose Liquor"....almost like a aphrodisiac to the ladies!!!

jeez you got a memory! i had some g-strings as well the weirdest was when a girl saw the bras and g-strings behind the bar and said here is my g-string to add to your collection, i thought this is going to be good :biggrin2: she then opened her handbag and took out a g-string and gave it to me, as she said "i only have a pair in my hand bag in case its cold when i go out and i can put them on then"!!!!! this from a very posh type

another good one for the girls is 2/3rds glass of champagne with small tot of vodka and topped up with a bit of redbull in a champagne glass. some call it an absolute shambles but i call it a viagra , because after a few of those they are ready to stay up and party all night, mind you it can lead to a bit of a shambles though :heh:
