I would take it due to the oddness of the thing. He will feel at home with me

Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. If you pass that up, we can't be friends:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That Vaalie is a chief.

Marius; does the zebra there have a pattern of mountain or burchel?

The Eastern Cape has both Cape Mountain Zebra, and Burchells Zebra. The Zebra I posted above is just a regular Burchells Zebra. One of our areas has a herd with a great gene with little to no shadow striping.

@Pheroze Cape Mountain Zebra might be one for you to consider for your trip in 2022. We're going to be among them if we are hunting Barbary Sheep.

Hi Marius
Are the zebra available black with white stripe or white with black stripe ?

Thanks

Your timing is incredible - I just so happened to be reading Kevin Robinson's book about that creature :) The way he describes them wandering around makes it sound like a good moose hunt. So, this would be a hunt that I would really enjoy.

What is the terrain like where the eland roam? I am thinking there must be a much flatter area for them?

Lol I misread your first post on this. I was reading about eland and my brain, or what subs as one, did the rest. Yes, the Zebra would be fantastic too!

When I show you an Eland, just don't shoot a Zebra....

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
