.375 Cartridge holder/carrier/pouch - help

I have been out of my leather shop for most of the summer, but finally got back in today. This was made out of a piece of Cape buffalo supplied to me by one of our members.

Another option is to carry a few on the stock in the hill people gear cuff. I differentiated between my softs (brass) and solids (nickel plated) last year on model 70 375, as well as location in the cuff. Pic is off hill people gear website.

As used on my 375:

Works great and quick access.

Just finished hand sewing this proto type pouch.

Elk hide lined, sides, and cartridge loops. Exterior is 5-6 ounce, natural color, vegetable tan cow hide. Double stitched with unsplit artificial senew for long use.

To finish it I'll add an antler button and elastic loop for flap closure.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
