Trash pandas.

Nice

Always good to get the trouble makers out of the neighborhood!

Plenty more for you to work on.
Thanks to the dog.

Glad you got them Rick. Pesky critters!

We've got them living in the damn sewers around here. My older brother traps them in his backyard all of the time and they are dealt with in a similar manner.

I've had to work all weekend, but skinning tomorrow. I'm making a bit of a collection of fur bearers (tanned) and they will hang on the wall of the trophy room with a few traps and perhaps some ol Ojibway snowshoes. A tribute to the days when I used trap up North.

He's a good dog. Half Rhodesian ridgeback, quarter pit bull, quarter lab. Loves to chase a ball, but don't get into a game of tug a war with him. It is not going to end well...

Interesting mix. No wonder the dog disliked the guests.

I used to have them in my yard and big cedar tree all the time a few years ago. Starting setting a baited capture trap out for them. Caught over a dozen. I drove them a couple miles from home and turned them loose in the woods. Cant shoot them in my neighborhood. Though we did harass the snot out of them with a BB gun. My boy parted the hair on ones forehead and he fell out of the tree and took off running. Don't see them much anymore, made it too much trouble for them.

furry bandidos!!!

Wanted to get out and hunt some myself this year.....want to get one to make a coon skin cap (I like traditional muzzleloading/primative skills.....made my own moccasins, bullet bags, gun sleeves for my traditional ML firearms, etc). Weather, job, chores, etc. conspired against me.......our season closes on Friday. Trash panda......I love it!!!! Also, if you haven't seen it yet, there is a great section in the Incredibles II movie where the baby (Jack-jack) uses he super powers to fight off an invading raccoon........it's hilarious!!!!!

They will open your coolers and eat ALL your food camping by Pat Mayse lake near Paris, TX. Plenty of them in my neighborhood in Dallas. Have killed 4 recently with .22. Their friends will open a Havahart trap for them!

Team Fet has spent many days in the summer camping in the western U.S. Places that are known for bears. However, the only time we have had an incident with an animal barging into our tent at night was in Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Texas. Two raccoons got in a fight and rolled into our tent. I was finishing cleaning up dishes and putting things up. Princess Bride was putting the boys to bed when the ruckus started. A raccoon fight makes a huge amount of noise. I did not rush into the tent to render assistance because I was expecting my wife's .357 to be put in action at any moment. There was no gun shot but evidently the raccoons felt they should leave after getting the look from PB.
