You are going to have too much fun. And yes that was a BIG leapord in that picture. I was the fortunate hunter. Wayne works hard at getting the job done.

Wayne,
Is this hunt sold to Edge?
If not I will take it.

Hopefully all the bad luck is out of the way and you have a successful trip!!!
Good luck and safe travels!!!!
I didn’t mention that my scope bases on the M70 worked loose week before last! Scrubbed the threads with alcohol and applied blue loc-tite, thought about using red! Was able to get back to the range before Michael hit and got it sighted back in. I also noticed my VX-6 with firedot would change intensity after shooting each shot. It changes intensity after dry firing, didn’t do that when it was new...I think your luck is holding up well myself! So far you’re on your way no matter what!
Just keep it up and don’t forget us back home wishing we were in your shoes!
I think that’s a good idea. I always carry a spare scope on Leupold QR sighted in. One is a 1-6x and the other a 2-12x. Both illuminated reticles. Haven’t had your issue yet, but who knows.Packed an old Leupold 2-7x 33 heavy duplex with the friction adjustmentments as a back-up mounted with QD rings and sighted in with my loads, just in case!
