Hello all, I have 1 Pronghorn tag for this year. Hunt is done a little ways outside of Channing Tx. Season is Sept 29-Oct 7 this year. You will be staying in Amarillo Tx and it’s only 40 min to the hunting area. I will provide all transportation to and from Amarillo to the hunting area. Hunt is fully guided and all inclusive.

Included: Guides, meals, lodging (at very nice hotel Holiday Inn or Drury Inn and Suites), Pronghorn Tag, pickup/drop off at Amarillo Int’l Airport. Trophy prep, skinning, and quartering.

Not included: Texas hunting license (45$ or so), tips, pre/post trip expenses, standard stuff.

Pick any 4 days during season and if you are tagged out early we will transfer down to my ranch in Turkey Tx for wild boar and predators.

The property we hunt Pronghorn on isn’t all that big but holds a ton of speed goats. (Give or take 1000 acres) It has several center pivots on it which has alphalpha and corn planted.

Total package cost: $4,000

$2000 to book and trophy fee for Pronghorn if successful is $2000 payable at the end of the hunt.

Well, at least that explains why you wanted all of my money upfront, minus the $7 service fee! :p

Another option is a guided hunt no meals no lodging for $2800. 4 days or until the animal is taken.
$800 deposit.

Occasionally we’ll see a Booner but it’s not the norm. It will be a mature goat in the 14-17” Range. These will be just good solid Texas Panhandle pronghorn.

If I wasn’t out of town for the birthday festivities, it would be all ‘Amarillo by morning’! It’s only a 6hr drive haha

Well if your out of town due to birthday festivities for this one give me a shout we you get back. We’ve got tons of cool stuff to hunt!

Looking for a buck with 15 to 16 inch horns, 6 to 7 inch bases, and 5 to 6 inch prongs to score a minimum of 82. Anything like that on the game cameras?

They are certainly there it’s just a matter of getting one to come into the center pivots off of the big ranches.
I don’t have any trail cams set up on that place but do spend quite a bit of time glassing out there during the year. The place I get Pronghorn tags for is a place i lease. It would be very difficult to get any trail cam pics on it with the way it is set up.
To answer your question yes there are Pronghorn like that out there, we see them ever year but getting a shot in one like that is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time and some luck. My average on that place is the pics posted above. Soooo what I’m saying is yes it’s possible to have an opportunity on a B&C goat but certainly not garaunteed. Our goats in the Texas panhandle tend to be smaller than say New Mexico, Colorado, or Wyoming.

I have ran 100% opportunity with a 75% success rate on this hunt. Shots tend to be pretty long so be prepared for that. Average shot will be between 300-500 yards. It’s wide open country up there.

I will say this, anyone booking this hunt will not be pressured in anyway to shoot any animal. If you don’t like a goat we have a shot at no worries we’ll try and find another. Additionally, even though I lease the land I am very adamant about taking care of the man’s herd and NO immature animals will be shot. I fully believe there is a right way and a wrong way to hunt and manage animals. I’d rather be out a trophy fee and eat a tag than to shoot an immature animal.

Ok gents, found out this morning that the client had to cancel so this hunt is available. Season opener is in two weeks and runs for 9 days.
