I know that bowfishing is legal in South Africa....
But where else? Namibia, Zambia,.....
Any info would be highly appreciated!!!

I dont know of any laws in Zambia stating it is not legal.
I will ask a friend who is on the Zambia Sports Fishing Association committee tomorrow morning.

Careful with Zambian bow fishing....

I hear it's all high fence hunting. ;)

ROTFLMFAO !!! Kinda like shooting fish in a barrel ... Hey Royal27
Glen

Exactly!

The outfitters don't like to talk about it, but they've branched out and even fishing is high fence now, amd as you can see, small area.

So when you see "guaranteed to catch" beware!

It's how we keep our daily rates lower!!!

Thanks!!!
Meant to get back to you earlier on this, spoke to a friend and he reckons there is no law against bowfishing here in Zambia.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
