These are excellent rifles made on Kimber’s Stainless 8400 action (same action as .375HH, .416RM, & .458 Lott). Stock is carbon fiber & Kevlar with a nice 1” decelerator recoil pad. Spacer has been removed from magazine box to allow for longer cartridge overall lengths. Excellent trigger. I bought this rifle as “New old stock” about a year ago and only has (19) rounds fired through it. It shot 225gr ELDMs on top of each other at 100yds, same with 175gr Barnes LRX. These rifles are no longer produced by Kimber so get one while you can!

Weight: 6lbs 11oz
Barrel: 25”
Capacity: 4+1

When the rifle was shipped to my FFL the lock assembly was loose in the box. This caused a couple nicks on the pistol grip and some very light scratching in the brushed finish on barrel. I have highlighted this in the pictures. Rifle is in great shape!

PRICE $1700 +buyer pays shipping (US only)

Preferred Zelle, will accept certified check with credentials.

Since it shot the 225 gr bullets so well does it have a faster than normal twist?

@Russ16 no sir, it has a 1:10 twist. 1:10 will stabilize the 225’s, along with all the desired lighter options.

what does bump mean? Glws?
"Bump" is a common way of updating an existing thread with a new comment so that it goes back to the top of the list of threads with the most recent activity. When done with moderation, it is an acceptable means of refreshing the community's awareness of your post. As you can imagine, taking it to excess would be frowned upon by most. As you can see in this thread, the OP is waiting a week or more between "bumps", which I think is reasonable for a For Sale listing.

Reduction: $1500 + shipping!

Forgot about this one for a minute until I found its factory box yesterday :)

I have the exact same rifle in .375H&H, it is by far my most favorite rifle. I had the barrel of my .375H&H cut down from 24" to 20", it is a real delight to carry! GLWS

These actions are extremely smooth, trigger is excellent and adjustable. I bought the rifle for an all weather DG build, but found one already built for purchase.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob
