Here is my Marlin 1892 .22 Take down. It was made in 1895 and can be shipped directly to you as a relic! Gun is fully functional and shoots great, rifling is still good. It has a 24" Octagon barrel and much patina, with traces of the original blue on the receiver. It has handling marks, but all the wood is solid and free of any cracks or splits. It appears someone installed an extended adjustable sight at one time on it and then put the original buckhorn back on it. It cycles flawlessly, shoots great and is a great piece of Marlin History. This was the predecessor to the Model 39 TD

I am only asking $625.00 for it and it will serve you well for another 130yrs!!!

OK here it is, REDUCED!! $550.00 shipped to you!! It is a relic and can be shipped directly to you.

Is there any chance you have pictures of the bore? How do you assess the rifling? Does it fire modern .22LR within MOS (minute of squirrel?)
I'd be interested if it's truly a shooter and not just a wall hanger.

I will see if I can take some photos but it shot well and no issues. I put a light at the breach and look down the barrel. A bore scope would work but I don't have one.

At $550 I'll take it- as is. Sending DM

Whew, glad you grabbed that Ray. I was about to buy myself an early Christmas present!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
