Had to go rent a forklift today to get the three crates from South Africa off the flat bed trailer. One is in the garage, the other two sitting in the driveway which you know has the neighbors wondering.

I opened the top of the crate in the garage and took out one item (the others get unpacked tomorrow). It is my Rhino foot candy bowl. Wasn’t sure about that but now that I’ve seen it I like it.

Four of the Big 5 are carved on the outside of the bowl.

Here is the contents of the first crate, which is the smallest.

First crate set up.

This is the big crate. Need to get three more people to help get the rhino out. But also in the crate are a pants belt, gun belt, gun bag for my Holland & Holland 375 and a gun bag for my double rifle, all made from Rhino hide.

My fiancé went above and beyond supporting the critters while I removed the screws that secured them.

Keep that picture for the future. When you are about to become inpatient recall this photo!

Maybe she is the real Trophy, certainly a keeper.

That Candy bowl is neat. Mine is similar, well mine is empty too, I guess that makes it similar.

The other pedestal mount.

Simply fantastic!!!

Wow that Roan dwarf's the sable simply huge.
I was surprised to learn that Roan is a bigger animal. I had never really thought of hunting one but when I saw it in person I was very impressed with the animal. First animal I took with my 475 No 2 Double. I stalked up to it close and shot it off-hand. Really happy to have taken it.

So I'm kinda stuck for now. Five wall mounts to put up along with a map of Africa made from the hides of the animals on this hunt. Need someone who knows what they are doing to handle those. May not have pictures for a while. And need three more people to help bring the Rhino into the house and get him on his base. Hopefully get the Rhino done in the next few days.

Roan are the second largest PG antelope in africa only the eland is bigger

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
