Possible to import trophies at Minneapolis?

I will be in Minneapolis for surgery next month and a small crate of my 2023 trophies is ready to ship from South Africa. Is it possible to import trophies at Minneapolis? Anyone ever done this? I can handle importation at the Canadian border on my return.

Coordinate with your import agent for an address change. They will coordinate with the taxidermist's shipping agent for the best airport that facilitates the US Customs process and then your agent will have it shipped to your updated address. It appears there is an application process for exemption which allows the trophies to enter through another port though this requires a US resident "agent". I found the USDA form. I'll continue to check into this and keep everyone posted. Since my trophies are finished taxidermy (skulls mounted on boards) they may fit the exemption. None are CITES concerned animals (gemsbuck, impala, springbuck).
