Come on a thrilling adventure hunting lions in the thick sand of the Kalahari. When the area experiences rainfall the grass is long and these lions can make one walk for miles on end. Some days we have clocked in 30kms walking after one lion. Do not underestimate this hunt and listen to the naysayers. This in my opinion is truly one of the most challenging and exhilarating hunts one can go on. Just watch my video on Youtube and see the sweat dripping from all those involved.

Are these lions CBL?

Are they exportable to the USA?

Since this is a legal hunt offered by a legitimate PH and sponsor for AH, who also offers free range hunts in the open areas of SA and Mozambique, and it’s also just been posted under Deals & Offers, I’m hopeful the Moderator or owner of AH Jerome will keep the BS to a minimum regarding CBL hunting. This thread should be for those interested in this hunt period.

I legitimately wanted to ask the outfitter the questions posted above.

Great deal for those of us who’d love to hunt a lion, but can’t afford a true wild hunt!

Exportable to non-US countries, correct?

Good day to all AH members,

Thanks for all your messages and commentary.

First off, I want to start by saying it was never our intension to criticize any one or anyone's opinion regarding CBL hunting. We merely wanted to illustrate that the way we conduct a CBL lion hunt is in a way that is challenging and thrilling. Some might have heard of or been on a CBL lion hunt before and it was not done in the correct spirit of hunting; we invite whoever is of this opinion to come on one of our hunts and experience it for themselves, before formulating an opinion.

Like in most industries you get people that take shortcuts and others that don't. Again, people's opinions about what is right and wrong will also differ. Which we completely respect.
We are of the opinion that when this hunt is done in the way it is intended tracking on foot in the Kalahari sand, that it's one of the most exciting and physically challenging hunts you can do.

To answer your question these lions are not exportable to the US. I will try to get a list of the countries that we can export to.

Best regards

Hello sir, do you think it is possible to approach one of these lions close enough to shoot it with a bow? I think 3 days is a bit short. Regards

Good day Sir,

Yes we most certainly will be able to. We will be able to get close enough.
If you want to do a few more days we can add that at $350 per day.

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
