Yes....oh wait....."my man"...is this literally or figuratively speaking?
Years ago there were a few women in the military that I heard say the first part and only thought the second part after being asked....ok, told in various terms to be quiet or spend the next X number of days on KP (Kitchen Police).
Then again I have learned to its better to offer my advice then watch with my best numb poker face while enjoying the moment, as women learn by experience they have no idea what they are doing.
I also learned by others (males) Never to say out loud nor admit to thinking: " I told you so." to any woman.
Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
