My buddy has a few nicer high end rifles to move on as he is getting older & not using them, not sure how to help him but after seeing the other post on Dumoulin thought I’d put some pics up & see what others thought ?

The rifles are in NZ & I suppose I/we could transport them to the US as hand luggage if someone there was interested in them, this is also a question as I have done this in the past but not sure if possible in this day & age ?

Weather has been bad so only took a couple of quick pics to see if there was any interest & maybe get some info on protocols ?

Not sure of the interest in this but a Ruger No1 in .375H&H has a full length Mannlicher type stock & lots of engraving, including the rings, also Cape Buffalo grip cap.

Very nice rifles! I’d love to get my hands on those two Dumoulins. Quite sure the .500 Jeff is from their Imperial Magnum line, which was one of the top products from Dumoulin. And they both look to be in pristine condition. Very envious! Especially that 9,3x62 would fill up perfectly a spot in my caliber lineup.

The Dumoulin rifles are what we term “Belgian Bests”. Built on the China made AN2000 Mauser actions as part of their “Imperial Magnum” line. Spanish living legend Tony Sanchez Arino had collaborated with Dumoulin to add the .500 Jeffery to their line.

Considering that no large scale gun making firm exists in Belgium anymore (the last to go being Lebeau Courally in 2000), I’d say that these fine little pieces of art should possess immense collector’s value & fetch a pretty penny on the secondhand market.

Those are VERY nice rifles. any one of the 3 I would be proud to own.

Thank you for the comments guys, what are the thoughts on taking them to the US ?

Hi @Sarg if possible when you have time any chance of full length photos of the 2 ba rifles and some facts..weight ..barrel length....can't have them but they look very nice.
Thanks guys.
Not so much time but the weather is bloody crappy most days here right now being Winter, I’m not that great with the Camera/phone but I’ll get some up & get a firm price in US $ if you like, he’s wanting NZ $, I’m not sure if he’s dreaming on value or reasonable ?

I do know I can’t afford the .500 Jeffery even on a payment plan lol !

Ok @Jakerthesnaker79 I’ll get some pics & info of that to, I think he said it’s been to Africa, the scope on it is a hole filler I think ?
it has some hunting wear on it, so hasn’t been a safe Queen !

The others look almost new !

Sarge, it is nice to see something from you. BTW are you still shooting your old 404 Jeffery?

All three of those guns are worth drooling over. Red Leg and Rookhawk can probably give you an idea what they are worth.

Hi @Shootist43 thank you, not sure you have the right Sarg, as I don’t have a 404 Jeff, lots of others but not that ?

I took a few quick photos today between showers, got barrel lengths but not lengths of pull or weights sorry, not the best but something ?

.500Jeff is 25in barrel
9.3x62 is 20in barrel
.375 H&H is 23in

Only got pics of the .500 & .375 today.

This has been hunted, a little blue rubbed on the barrel, I see even the scope mount screws are engraved !

The other two look as new.

Interesting Sarg.

I also have a Dumoulin, which I am also selling at the moment.

The confusing thing is that mine is marked differently.
The barrel on my 7x64mm is stamped;
"H.Dumoulin & Fils Milmort, Liege Made in Belgium"

Same company ? different company ?
How many Dumoulins were there.

Apologies for backing onto your thread, I'm just surprised to see the different barrel markings.

Thanks.
PaulT.

Hey Paul how are you going ?

No problem bud, I'm not sure how many Dumoulin companies there may be, yours looks to be a Double Barreled name, bought in/joined up ?

Stay well !
