ZIMBABWE: Elephant Hunt With NYAMAZANA SAFARIS

Hi there everyone,

I'd like to briefly share my story about elephant hunting with Wayne from @NYAMAZANA SAFARIS, Zim.

Me and my dad booked an elephant hunt with Wayne. I have already been on elephant hunt in different countries so I can compare a bit.

We have been lucky to get a nice 30 lbs class bull the very first morning and proper old buffalo very last evening. I couldn’t be better. In between we have also been part of the hunt called PAC (problem animal control) and seen also how important role Wayne and his family play for local communities.

I'd like to especially lift up that Wayne is 100% honest with you. No hiding, no cheating… all was 100% in the way we discussed before! I see he has a huge experience with elephant hunting and you as the client feel very safe and you can feel how Wayne is confident in what he is doing! That is for me the most important thing!!

I can only recommend to all hunters to book hunt with Wayne. The price / what he is offering is unbeatable!

Sure, we were there at the beginning of April this year. Still very hot during the day, at least in my opinion..

Both shot with 375. Elephant heart shot + head. Buffalo shoulder … many bullets

The other elephants on PAC hunt shot by lott + 375 back up..

No, we got 1 ele and 1 buff. Then during PAC hunt we have been part of the hunt of 3 elephants in total...

Fila and his father took 1 good elephant on the first day and a good buffalo on the last day . The PAC was done primarily by my son and I backed up . Fila was there to observe how did it which was awesome for him because that particular night we took 3 bulls in a space of 5 hours in different fields spread across a large community .

How the elepant reacted to heart shot, how much did he run away? Was there a blood spoor?

Our ele hunt was my second safari, you were my 3 rd PH. I have had more safaris and many more PH's since and none have been like you. You welcomed me into your home, I had meals with your family, you organised an unorganised US agents mess up, and provided me an amazing hunt and lifelong memories. Not even including the way you looked after me after my little medical incident. You showed me what safari is supposed to be like, I say you have probably forgot more about a proper safari and hunter treatment than some other PHs I have had ever known.

We will hunt together again, when ready I will be looking for a hippo and some other PG stuff. Zim wild of course.
