QD rings you like for a .375

Round bottomed channels that narrow down like a funnel sound good. Talley slots are square so we push the scope/rings to one end in contact with the edge of the slot and tighten. Different system.
After reading your first message in this thread I'm definitely going to redo how I secure my QD talley with the forward pressure. It was like a lightbulb moment for me realize what forces play on the scope. Thankyou

Glad I could help. It also puts the scope rings in the same spot every time to assure return to zero.

But of course when setting up you must ensure both rings are pushed forward in their base slots before tightening them to the scope tube. Otherwise there might be a thousandths or two space between one ring's crossbrace and the edge of its slot when the scope is reattached and pushed forward before tightening the clamps. Apparently the clamps by themselves for some models of QD rings are not strong enough to retain zero. Warne rings are the exception. One crossbrace and clamps were sufficient to retain zero on my 404J.

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
