Having worked in the gun magazine business for a number of years, what he says is very true in a lot of instances. Small startup companies have a real struggle once they market a viable produce and large companies catch on to it.
The good old days for independent reps was in the 80’s & 90’s, pre micro manager/bean counter tools like email, spreadsheets, teams calls, call reports, etc. if people only realized when you have to have a team of people making sure another team of people is doing what they want them to do exactly like they want it done, probably got more problems than they realize.
