I do not believe you can take this out of the country, I'm sure you would need an ITAR permit. Thats according to my Leica rep.

Phil, I may wrong but legally (USA LAW) I believe it is illegal to even take a ITAR device on any commercial flight. I am sure that there will be more comments as to the legality.

Phil we have the original Calonox on a .375 H&H M-70. I do not know how it would hold up on a DG caliber

I looked up the regulations on another web site. It said that it was illegal to take USA manufactured ITAR devices out of the USA.
I think Leica is made in Austria? I purchased ours in RSA

Everything I read says that you can not "export". Is this what you are reading also? So you have been shooting it one .375 regularly?
