Gentlmen,
I have been asked by my hunting partners to start looking for our next African hunting adventure. We have different hunting in mind but want to hunt from the same camp and enjoy the trip together. Hunt would preferably take place in early September of 17, and have a minimum of 7days hunting in duration.
My main focus would be a hard bossed cape buffalo bull+a bush buck or waterbuck and possibly some cull hunting time allows. Please indicate expected size of buff and fenced or free range in any offers.
Rick has his heart set on a giraffe, zebra, and a bush buck and I'm sure that his list will double depending on his options for other plains game. A good price on a Roan would catch his eye I'm sure.
Dennis is still undecided on the scope of his hunt, a buffalo could be on the agenda for him as well, or plains game may fit the bill depending on his value assessment of the offers.

We would like the offers to include comfortable transport from a major airport, hunting in a malaria free or low risk area, species available and pricing, comfortable camps with hot showers, and laundry service along with game based meals. Also please include the number of other hunters to expect in camp during our stay and any other activities available for a day excursion in the area.

We are all experienced hunters and took our first trip to Africa together in Namibia in 2014. I would be happy to provide the outfitters information if you wish to have a reference for us.

Thank you in advance for any information provided or advice for other members.

Welcome!

Let me get with @Tootabi Valley Safaris and get back to you. If you'd like to PM me your email we can discuss your needs and wants in more detail as well.

Tootabi is about an hour from Port Elizabeth and has a wide variety of animals both on the farm and in the area. I also believe it can be arranged for you to have the lodge to yourself and there is plenty of room and hot water. :)

I just got back from my last trip but will get you some numbers and info by the end of the weekend. We are from 1 1/2 hours to 5 hours away from jo berg with no second flights needed. Have buff on fenced areas or free range. Have some roan coming up to hunt also and will get prices also. Have all normal plains game in the area and can do the northwest or the limpo. Will be just your group in the camp and will cover everything from pick up to drop off.

Will PM you on here with all info

Thanks Billc

We are situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. It is a malaria free area.

Looking firward to hear from you.

Best regards

I would also highly recommend Beans @Tootabi Valley Safaris and Andri Fox @Andri Fox Safaris , we have hunted with them many in situations including Cape Buffalo, which they very very good with. Excellent areas, top class trophies. Stunning lodging, and all round great guys. You guys will definitely have a great time with either of them.

Hi HS

Welcome here.

This is the best place to get all the info needed and there are some great and competent Outfitters here that would make your second trip to Africa just as good if not better than the first.

I have options for you on buffalo and plains game (fenced and unfenced ) both on my own property and other areas that we hunt.My property is in the Waterberg area of Limpopo about 2 1/2 hours drive north of Johannesburg Int airport.

We are family run operation and also have a 1 group in camp policy for you to have a memorable hunt.

I will pm you with some details.

Thank you for the request on AH.

Regards

Rouan

Thanks everyone for the responses and recommendations.
I will be replying to each of you and look forward to the planning of this hunt.

@tnshooter , I wish I could put my name in the hat, but we are already fully booked for those dates for 2017.
The names that have been mentioned here are all reputable guys, so I have no doubt that you will have a great time with any one of them.

Thank you all for the response to this post, but our plans have changed. The lady in my life says we are getting hitched in April, and So the boys trip is postponed. The guys will be disapointed, but are good friends and will understand. Fortunately however, she is truly my match as it will likely be an African honeymoon. Her first choice of dates to tie the knot is April 8th of 2017, but nothing is fixed as of yet. We will be looking for a plains game hunt to include at least a kudu and a spring buck for her, and bushbuck, nyala, and waterbuck for myself. The Buff will will have to wait, love u honey. We would like to include a day trip to a park such as Addo or Kruger as well. So, if you have dates available in April, and are willing to host a pair of newlyweds from Tennessee, feel free to reply and thank you in advance.

@tnshooter you are welcome to PM me I will be able to accommodate you.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
