I’m the hunter who posted that hunt report that was copied here showing Mike as the PH. I can tell you I’ve been fortunate to hunt numerous African countries with some very good and even a not so good (but very well known) PH…and Michael Blignaut is definitely one of the good ones! I’ve only hunted with him while he was contracted through Tokoloshe Safari but I wouldn’t hesitate to hunt with him anywhere. He is a straight shooter who is knowledgeable, personable, and puts out alot of effort to provide first rate service. His team operates like a well tuned machine showing years of experience together. As a matter of fact I look forward to hunting again with Mike, Tiger, and Pizza whether it’s back at Tokoloshe or elsewhere. As stated, I have had no dealings with Sean Scott but wanted to speak on behalf of Mike.

I don’t remember the exact forms but I do remember filling out some paperwork for my rifles/ammo. I use TWG travel so they emailed me the forms and I just fill it out as they instruct and let them do the heavy lifting. I remember it wasn’t any more difficult than permits to SA or Namibia if that helps.

I have meet and spoken with Sean Scott several times at our Kansas City SCI Chapter meetings and banquets. I have bid on several of the hunts he donates yearly to our chapter but I always get outbid.

I have a Buffalo hunt next year with Sean and Mike in Zimbabwe. I have hunted with Sean in the States. He has 2 areas in Zim. They DBA Victoria Falls Safari Services.
