ZAMBIA: Classic Sable, Classic Caliber Hunt With spike.t At Takeri Reserve Zambia

Awesome report Dave!

Great report with some beautiful trophies. Good job and congrats. Glad you were able to make it. Takari is a neat place to hunt.

Dave, I don't know why I missed this report previously, (maybe because I'm not spending a lot of time on AH.) You guys had a great hunt, proving once again that a properly loaded 7 X 57 aka 275 Rigby is a great caliber for hunting African PG.

Congrats to all on a great Zambia safari! That’s a huge lechwe!

Started a new thread with some finished taxidermy photos.

I've heard that Mike will go the extra mile to get trophies for his hunters . . . but a bongo in Zambia! Well done both of you!

Or is it someone else's . . .!

The bongo was in the taxidermy shop in Cypress, Texas. There were actually two, but they belonged to someone else.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
