
That's a fantastic and well-thought-out list covering everything from small game to large, dangerous game. The 9.3x62 is a brilliant and underrated cartridge, offering tremendous power with very manageable recoil. It's hard to argue with classics that have proven themselves so effectively.The 375 WBy thread got me thinking of my favorite hunting cartridges off all time.

I flinched 3 times reading this.The 338 win mag hunted with it 40 years
The 416 rem mag used it 12 years in Alaska
The 338-378 weatherby my long range rifle in Alaska for 12 years totally awesome shot as flat at a 220 swift .
