I’m not an artist, but art and the art business are a part of my life. First by osmosis and now by necessity!

With that said, I went by the gallery for lunch to say “hi” to my pop and check in on the new show being set up.

Not looking for inspiration, just looking, I found this:

From a distance I thought I may have found an artist to relate to!

Art … LOL, I’ve had delusional projects like this while on Tequila but thankfully never came to fruition! More a rooting through garage sales or flea markets & decided on some knee jerk project … but, he proudly posted his name to the Place Card.

Actually, the project doesn’t bother me … it’s the overplayed topic On the Place Card! It’s tiring & f*king ridiculously misguided! IMHO, focus on the root-cause of Gun Violence anyway & the vast majority full circles back to illegal guns in the hands of illegal gun owners. I hate Politics but Politicans & their enforcement agencies are “failing societies” w/ their inept ability to get the illegal gun trade under control.

Hahahaha! Some nice skip line checkering and a hand rubbed oil finish and I’d be impressed

I didn’t realize wood stocked bolt action rifles were contributing to the gun violence in this country. Silly me, I thought it was young gang bangers with stolen handguns (Mostly)
