Woodleigh - Through Customs & Available For Purchase Now

Thanks. https://ravenrocksprecision.com/brand/nosler/

@rookhawk -- I am more than happy to talk to Geoff about this. I'm assuming you want the FMJs, and the Hydros won't do, is this correct?

Correct. I mean no disrespect to the hydros, but there are many copper and brass solids in existence. For regulating a dangerous game double rifle, your first attempt is always to reproduce what it originally had when new: a lead core FMJ bullet. Only two exist: Woodleigh and Hornady. Because they have different contours, one is going to regulate and the other is not.

Once we get into softs, non-lead bullets, and modern lathe turned solids the choices become endless. Those endless options are novelties that a double rifle owner may wish to play with AFTER they have a functional rifle using the traditional FMJ load it was built for when original.

If it would help gauge demand, I imagine that if you offered a pre-buy, you would have some takers. Just a thought.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll report back when I hear back from Geoff.

In the meantime, glad to have these on the shelves.

I was checking the Woodleigh inventory today and I realized that about 60 boxes from the shipment this month didn't get updated in inventory. Consists of:

6 types of 338 Cal
30 Cal 165gr
9.3mm 250gr
3 types of 375 Cal
A few more less common ones as well

Hope that helps some folks. If you signed up for in-stock notifications, you'll likely get an email as well if it was something you were waiting on.

We don't ship internationally, but reach out to Chris at Reloading International. We work with them on Woodleigh--and we're already working together to put together the next order. We're both pretty much sold out of the same calibers and weights though.

Pass, the Worcestershire is for Bacon in the morning. The cooks in camp were surprised when I wanted Worcestershire sauce and tin spaghetti with Bacon and Eggs. The food was all great but those things go together for me.
I never saw Worcestershire Sauce in a camp - but there was always gallons of Heinz Tomato Sauce . The other interesting thing was there was never coffee . It was always Bushells Tea . As a 10 year old kid ( with no money ) I would walk around finishing off the butts of cigarettes dumped by the men working in the camps . On a horse all day / every day with great blokes and loads of food , it was a great time .

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
