Hunting over pointing dogs?
Driven shoots?

Shells?

Hunting over dogs. GSP.
Shells not included. Case of 250 is about $70

What would you expect bird counts per day to be with three shooters of average ability?

Can you provide link to pics of land and lodge?

Hard to answer...average ability...the average shot requires 21 shells to drop a Rockey pigeon.

Most of us would gawk at that statistic.

A group of experienced shotgunners in bush conditions can bag a mix of Guinea fowl and francolin of 40 birds a day.

Having said that, I had a group of French clients that went through a case of ammo on day one and had very little to show.

I will try and upload pics of camp now.

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
