I am looking at buying my first DG rifle. I cannot afford a double, so I am looking at a bolt action. Which of these would you buy? All 375 H&H, used and in good condition.

Brno ZKK 602
CZ 550
FN Mauser

condition of the rifle, fit etc is more or equally a factor. Buy the one that fits the best

See if you can find .375 hh whitworth, its my favorite, most can be had for $900-$1100

Need a little more context to help you out. Military surplus sporterized? There are many used .375H&Hs out there and "cheap" is a relevant word. Look beyond your initial selection for others. CZ of course, but there are also Tikka, Savage 110 for inexpensive rifles with great accuracy at a good price.

Do not see where the OP mentioned “cheap” as a requisite factor. Reads to me as though he has already found all three for sale in similar condition and would simply like advice on which would be the wisest choice.

There was one at Bass Pro not long ago for around $ 1,600. On recommendation from here, on the issues it has with its action, I passed. It seems you love yours, and that's good.

Any of the above. Are you able to handle all of them and shoulder them? There may be one that fits you better than the others…

I have one of each, and love each one for its own reasons. The FN Mauser could be a few different rifles to me. Is it just the action? Is it a Husky? Is it a full custom rig?
The CZ and the 602 are the most solid bets for me out of the three. (550 being no.1) You can have a ton of upgrades for reasonable prices and they are as tough as a pine knot.

I’m not able to handle any of them. They are all on auction sites. I will most likely restock any of them to a composite stock, have the barrel cut down, and cerakote it. I want an all-weather gun. I will run it suppressed with a quick-detach red dot and low-power scope so I can move back and forth between them.

The CZ is unfired, the 602 is as from the factory, and the FN is restocked, but looks to be as from the factory otherwise. The FN is the least expensive and the CZ the most.

The old ZKK602 in 375 just screams Africa. They are big old solid action that work well. Maybe a little heavy but in 375 that don't really matter.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
