What Watch do you wear when you hunt?

Actually an R93. I like the way it feels better. Just a personal thing. Love the straight pull and quick follow up if needed.

More points if it’s on a chain
I wish I had the chain--it went to my uncle, who made it as a jeweler. He fashioned a bob in the shape of a cotton bole...my grandfather on my mother's side grew up as a sharecropper, picked a lot of cotton in his life. In the center of the bole was a tiny deep blue geod--I have never found one like it. The crystals are so tiny that when light winks as you, it is though you have a tiny window into the deep space of the universe, with tiny faraway stars twinkling.

4 o'clock date window is cool...except for lefties.

@CZDiesel - Nice watch. Has a "field watch" look to it. Is it a standard buckle clasp?

I was going thru some old stuff and found my father's Paul Buhre that he acquired in Europe sometime during WWII. Still keeps perfect time. I'll be passing it on to my grandson.

was wearing my rolex explorer 2 last november in minnesota.
By Explorer 2, do you mean the 40mm? I see you have fitted a leather strap, so did I, it fels much better. I'll get a couple more made.

I’ve always been the other way around. I prefer the bracelet over a leather strap. I have one watch with a leather strap that I barely wear because of it.

i like the bracelet too but i chose to swap my explorer out. i have a batman and also a submariner 1680 reference that both have their oyster bracelets.

The Rolex Oyster bracelet is a nice piece, especially the newer ones with the updated clasp. I’m not a fan of the Jubilee, but I understand that some people think it’s much more comfortable than the Oyster.

i agree with u on the oyster vs jubilee. i prefer the oyster but some buddies prefer the jubilee. to each their own lol.

Some fox getting this morning with a moon landing twist, in quiet recognition of Bulova's 150th anniversary year. ;)

^ At least the hound is maintaining mission focus, staying on task and not fiddling around taking photos of his watch. :ROFLMAO:

This Laco tribute watch was built by a friends son. He is on the spectrum somewhere and is highly intelligent. And has had his struggles. He has chosen to attend a Swiss Watch makers school in Texas. And hopes to make that his career. He is fascinated by high quality watch movements.

I enjoy supporting this young man on his path. He is making a Trench watch for me next.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
