What The US Fish & Wildlife Service Is Doing For The Lion

It's really an embarrassing bandwagon.... The USFW, airlines, etc.... I totally get the united front on rhino horn... I think that needs to even be taken to a different level & opposite direction.

Circle back.... Those lions are now going for half price or less.... For what I say is politics... Save face, wear a badge of courage, etc. I call horeshit..... They are not saving squat.... What they have done is half the revenue generated.... So, now Africa gets half, the hunter gets half off, PH gets half....shipping is doubled.... Finding a decent taxidermist for your half off lion to be shipped at 2x the cost.

The lion population is not/will not increase.... So whose the winner?

Im with you Eric. I m afraid once I retire my African trip will most likely be a thing of the past. many of us work hard just to afford this luxury.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
