A previous post prompted me to take my rifle for a walk, the barrel cut post. My rifle, CZ 550 416 Rigby, 3 rounds in the magazine. I wanted to see after a while how the rifle balanced and how I switched positions with it. I found a comfortable 1 handed carry position but the barrel tips down almost 45 degrees. I had the dog with me it is a beautiful night. I saw a small buck then I found a shed. Few deer on the skyline later on. He are some pics of tonight, thought I'd share. John

Every time I took my 416 Rigby out for a stroll everything in the woods was so scared of it they stayed in hiding.

Beautiful country side sir!

Are you sure it’s the rifle???[emoji15][emoji83]

Changed rifles and the game came out of the woods. It has the makings of a great superstition.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
