Well boys, what's your temperature like now?

A little rain, a little snow, a little wind out west

For mye location it was a good year. We do not usually get any summer honey but this summer had a perfect balance of wet and sunny :-)

Finally having some real winter weather here. My phone says 5 right now. Looks like we'll lose another 10 or 12 overnight. Windchill is supposed to be about -25.

We've had moderate temps up until now but some moron already dropped his ice shack through 3" of ice.

its a balmy 41 degrees here in the Yellowstone River valley. No snow in sight.

Finally, the subzero temperature was established. -3. A month later than usual. In general, the fundamental difference between Eastern Europe and Western Europe is the subzero winter temperature. Moreover, the boundary (the zero isotherm of January) is almost vertical. So we had an almost Western European autumn, with green grass and some leaves on the trees. And last Saturday our club held a moose hunt, and one guy was lucky: he took a bull with horns. They usually shed their horns by December.

-29°C this afternoon. Saw a very confused Richardson's ground squirrel sitting on top of a snowbank wondering where summer went. He should have been hibernating three months ago.

Is the Yellowstone River valley the same thing as the Paradise Valley?

I suppose Paradise Valley is technically the Yellowstone River valley, but I am 150 or so river miles down stream

-18C with some snow finally, another 6-8” to come tonight and tomorrow View attachment 649087
Time to get out and grill something for you too! Grilling is best in below 0F temps. Only propane works in those temps though. It feels "zesty" outside and builds character. LOL My cold record grilling was in minus 24F. Ha! Ha!

So closer to Billings?

I've hunted in the Paradise Valley, around Pray, for years.

First frost this morning in Dallas. We are behind schedule for cold this year.

I’ll BBQ all year round. I use natural gas though, no bottles to worry about!

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
