Folks,

Looking at returning to Namibia sometime in 2014. I would really like to focus this safari on a couple of uniquely Namibian animals - Hartmann's Mountain Zebra and Damara Dik-Dik.

Here is a rough outline of what I have in mind:

  • Seven Full Hunting Days, plus an additional day on each end of the hunt for Arrival/Departure
  • As free-range as possible, preferably no high fencing, on as large a property as possible.
  • Would prefer to concentrate on the two species listed above but may be interested in some additional animals (Klipspringer, Warthog, etc).

Thanks in advance for any further details/information.

Good day pinotguy.

I have a contact (Hunting Outfitter) in Namibia whom complies with all the above prerequisites as you stated above.

Feel free to make contact with me via email info@tootabi.com so that I can furnish you with all the necessary information. They in fact have very good prices.

I'd like to help out and hear from you.

Regards,

Now that is a class act! Pinotguy is looking for specific animals in Namibia and Loodt a South African outfitter helps him out.

I thank you for the above comment Warbird782. In fact, isn't this why were all on this AH forum? Helping each other out and exchanging ideas, and tips doesn't take a thing nor any harm to anybody. We as hunters should stand together and support each other even more! Have a great weekend...!

Well said Loodt!

One of the reason it was easy to pick them as a place to hunt next year.I think loodt is going to be one of the good ones on here to deal with.We have already talked about namibia and the place he knows about has some great trophys.

HI Pinotguy,

Drop me a Pm with your email address and I'll send you some information about a couple of Namibian outfitters I work with.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
