Wanted CZ 550 416 Rigby

Looking for a CZ 550 in 416 Rigby. Not one of the expensive custom jobs. This will be for a "bucket list" one time trip to Africa. I'm currently in Minneapolis VA hospital recovering from Agent Orange throat cancer. When my strength returns I'll make my one time trip for Cape Buffalo. The Rigby is a sentimental favorite as my gunsmith and good friend had one he had built and was building me a 338 Lapaua, I guided for Elk and deer at the time, when he died from a heart attack at a rather young age. This was some 25 years ago, I moved to Thailand a few years later. I know a few "blems" were bought from CZ at a little over 1200 and I'm sure somebody is holding on to some of them for probably twice as much, I would.

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind, please keep me in mind. Changing stocks isn't too big a deal. I used to do a little gunsmithing on my on, nothing like my gunsmith who was trained in the "old way". My go to rifle was Rem. 700, 300 Mag., restocked, barrel floated, action bedded. Nothing but clover leafs,

USMC 64-67, VN 66-67.

Two of my favorite goose guides are Vietnam vets, one was a loach crew chief/ gunner in the army and the other was a Marine. My uncle was as well and several men I hunt doves with are as well. All of you have my admiration and thanks.

Although mine with a 375 HxH Winchester Mod. 70 with a pre-64 action I bought almost 20 years ago! Always with my Cape Buffalo hunt in mind. What can I say? I plan ahead! Good luck and....Cheers!
