Does anyone have a right hand R8 stock setup for 22mm Safari barrel profiles? Also looking for 9.3x62 and .416 barrels. Thanks,

The barrel channel on your existing stock can be opened up to accept the larger barrels.

True but it’s a nice wood stock and I don’t want that much gap.

There's a guy on Blaser Buds selling a standard professional stock for $1350 I believe. Would need to be opened up for the safari barrel though. I've heard it's an easy job. I actually just bought the other stock he had for sale. Should get it next week.
I also just bought a new 9.3x62 barrel with iron sights this week. There are deals out there if you're patient to wait for them. Blaser Buds is a good place to look for most anything Blaser related.

Thanks Toby. I’m on that forum also and noticed that ad. Kudos on your purchase. I thought about buying the other stock.

I have a couple of wood-stocked rifles with wide channels. Really don't distract when the slim barrels are installed. Can shoot you some pics Monday.

I would like to see the photos when you get time. Thanks.

Just the stock. I have a complete R8 with wood stock and 17mm barrels.

i have a composite professional stock i just bought as a package that i plan to swap out to an aftermarket. Never been fired.
My aftermarket arrives around early Nov.
Drop me a note with your cell and i can text you some pictures if you're not in a huge rush.

You'd likely have to still open up the barrel area to accommodate the larger diameter barrels. I'm not sure what it'll accommodate from the factory.

I have a Selous .416 Rem.mag ported barrel.

I would be interested in more info on your barrel. I wasn't looking for ported but I would like to hear more about it. Thx.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
