I have been looking for a couple months now, just wanted to see if anyone had one they wanted to part with. Thank you.

The new or the old?

Just had a look around. Tough find in any vintage. I have a Win .338 but its not a SG, but one of the Alaska Comm rifles. Has most of the SG features but the fore end tip, and it has sights which the SG doesnt have except the pre 64's.

Thank you very much for checking. I have one those Alaskan models in a different chambering, it is a fine rifle, but not exactly what I am looking for.

The one I have is the State Commemorative model, only came in .338 mag. in one year.

I have a custom 338 Win Mag built on pre 64 action, has some of nicest wood I have seen in Supergrade style, Supergrade bottom metal, Shilen barrel, shoots very well, built by Elton Youngblood

This thing is really an amazing piece of work, Willie at Champlin did the metal work, and the trigger is outstanding also

Hey Odinsraven. Is that post from Jefferry 404 legitimate? I don't know him. Thanks!

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
