These guns are also posted for sale elsewhere.
I'm not sure how much interest there will be here, but I figured I'd post them in case someone was into these old guns. I'm slowly cleaning out the gun room and I need to unload some projects. I can take/send pictures of anything specific you would like to see and I'll try my best to answer any questions you may have. Shipping will be from a non-FFL in Western Pennsylvania... If you'd like to meet up and you're in my area, that's totally doable as well. Only trades I would be interested in would be Merkel O/Us, non-military Brno sporting rifles, or a Beretta S56e or S57e in 20 gauge. I'd also be interested in a savage 1920 or possibly a Hi Standard Model B. All prices are plus actual shipping.
1. Husqvarna Model 640 in 8x57. Commercial FN action, very good bore. Nice bluing, scope bases, some dings on the stock and there is a repaired chip behind the tang $550
2. Mauser sporter in 8x57. Very good bore, hinged bottom metal, model 70 type safety, claw mounted German scope. Probably made after the war. Jaeger trigger, stock isn't anything to write home about. The scope mounting system is set up to accept European scopes with rails on the bottom. $700
3. Oberndorf Mauser 98 sporting rifle in I believe 7x57. Ribbed barrel, very good bore, hinged bottom metal, peep sight. Appears the rib started to lift from the barrel on the receiver end and someone used an epoxy to keep it on. Not terrible looking, but not great. Stock is not original Oberndorf and the bottom metal doesn't match the numbers from the barrel and receiver. Oberndorf bones in the great 7mm Mauser $900
4. Krieghoff Mauser sporter in I believe 8x60. Very good bore, 3 leaf rear sight, hinged bottom metal. Drilled and tapped for a side mount on the rail. I do not have a mount for it. This one will probably need to be reloaded for. The chamber is a little tight on some 8x60 I purchased from Reeds Ammo. It will close on it, but it's tight. Lightweight rifle $650. 2 boxes of 8x60 will be available to be purchased by the buyer.
