I had a great hunt with @NICK BOWKER SAFARIS in 2024 with Mr. Ben Pringle as my PH.

I first saw these critters in 23' on my first trip and knew nothing about them but they intrigued me and I wanted to chase them.

I love hunting the higher country. It is definitely one of my top and favorite hunts to date.
weariness of a whitetail, ears and hearing like a muley and stamina like a pronghorn.

Fun fun fun hunt. I'd do it again.

What was your shot distance? I used a borrowed rifle and would much prefer to use my own with a tripod if I do it again. It is NOT a good position from shooting sticks. Also, I would wear real hiking boots instead of typical African footwear.

If memory serves I was 450-500 yards. It was a long poke. It’s one of the few times I’d really prefer to have my own rifle vs my outfitter. They provide great guns and I’ve shot springbok at 700 with them however the long shots that matter I like my own rig.

I missed my first shot on this hunt and nailed it the second shot. I’m convinced had I had my own gun, first shot would have been money.
