Hitch, I am glad you had a good time with Clay and the guys. I hunted with them for a week or so this June and had quite a good time myself. We were after a giant Axis and found a couple but I ended up shooting a couple of good average bucks.
That Black buck is a monster. I will continue to hunt for one like that as well as a lot of other critters that are available in Texas. It's a summer time fill in place for me, with year round options for hunting.
I will continue to use the services of Pope Brothers as they have access to some great country and are very accommodating to whatever a hunter is looking for.
