Trouble grouping .375 H&H

This was the result of the range today. Shot off sandbags and made sure barrel was cool between each shot. 9 shots and multiple shots touched. My trigger is pretty stiff so I would like to lessen the pull on that. 100 yards. Im going to experiment with a little hotter loads to see how they do. Thank you to every one For the input!

The .375 does very well with slower powders. R15 is great stuff, but for the .375 there are much better choices. Start with IMR4350 and then try IMR4831 or R19 or even R22 and similar powders. Some like H4831 but it may be a bit slow depending on barrel length etc. Seriously though, my best loads were with 4350 and 4831 both IMR. I used std CCI 200 primers too with those powders, but most would use a mag primer. Full charges. With loads like this if your rifle is any good at all you can expect MOA groups and between 2500 and 2600 fps with 300 gr bullets, from a 24" barrel.

Well done and you may be able to get even a little tighter. But what I like most about that 9 shot group is its SHAPE! I detect no issues with the shape of that group.

My favorite powders in the 375 HH with 300 gr bullets are Reloader 19 and H4350. I like near 100% load density but not compressed when approaching max load. My favorite 375 HH 300 gr loads are around 2475 fps and both those powders easily achieve that without showing pressure signs. My velocity SDs with the above formulas average 7-10 fps. Since H4350 is not temperature sensitive it is my powder of choice for a serious 375 HH 300 gr hunting load.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
