Not to plug these guys or Mokore, but pour yourself your favorite adult beverage sometime and turn on the YouTube on your TV. Find this and watch it, then marvel at the plains game paradise that this area has become under Mokore’s management. I gotta get back. When I hunted there they weren't taking buff or elephant yet. Neil is a great guy to hunt with.

Ok, it’s pretty long. Pour yourself another

I have that one bookmarked to watch for sure.

Doug and Neil are good people

It was a great episode and the long form video on YouTube is like 2hrs long or something I think
It did a very good job on highlighting the excellent quality available with Mokore in Coutada 9

I watched it yesterday! Mokore is on my short list for the next safari for sure!

Duckworth boys are real good guys. Hunted there with Doug in 23. Incredible nyala, sable, eland, kudu as well. They must have gotten rid of some lions…..they were becoming a real problem when I was there. Haven’t watched the video, have too look it up.

I’ve seen it and I believe it’s a great example of how hunting increases wildlife.

If only the anti hunting crowd would take the time to watch it.

Guav Johnson has a place that he is trying to revert back to wilderness after driving the cattle out and removing the old barbed wire fences.

The video is on YT and he got some funding in that will keep the project rolling.

I agree, during my first safari in 2018, it was literally a coin flip between Mokore and CMS, and just ended up going with CMS.

But Mokore is forever on my list of outfits I want to hunt with and someday will!

Just an observation. Neil’s longtime tracker Nhomo is one of those guys that never seems to age, as people around him all look older. Same can be said of Dalton Tink’s lead tracker Tongai. I hunted with Tongai 12 years apart and he looked the same both times. I hadn’t seen Nhomo since 2018, but he still looks the same.

Good memories.

Lots of good eland there.

Leather boots are still in style for manly footwear. Beads and Roman sandles won’t be seen

( OK, some of you will get that)

Hunting shoes for 1st three days, as luggage was lost. Taught me to wear my boots on the plane.

I hunted there in September 2024. Was amazed at the amount of plains game animals. Bert, Gertie, Doug and Neil were all in camp sometime during my stay. Some great conversations. Had a great time and can't wait to get back.
