Was in Ray's Hardware Sporting Goods today (Dallas Tx) and got to try out the new Trijicon Oasis Skeet IR. There were only 25 of these released to the civilian market as I was made to understand! Ray's got two of them, ONE IS ALL THAT'S LEFT. These latest generation thermal optics are better than what the military is supplying, said the young man waiting on me--he recently got out of the military. It can be mounted either on a helmet, or on a piccatiny rail AHEAD of your scope of choice. You then look through whatever scope you love (not with illumination on, obviously). The image quality made all the other stuff on the shelf seem like a pile of haggis. PRICE IS $16K. One of the images you can select is an outlined thermal figure, for even better target identification. BTW, the unit is also compact and light--maybe under 4 inches long!

I predict an AH member may be the future owner, but there can only be one.

iRAY RICO HD 1280 75mm Thermal Weapon Sight is close to the price and would probably pull away in performance as a weapon mounted system.

In truth, thermal is like computers. Technology is getting outdated everyday.

I haven't seen any reviews yet but why would they call it skeet? That makes no sense.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
