The government shutdown impacts trophy import

Just a friendly reminder USFWS permit offices are closed during the shutdown. Just be aware there will be delays when they resume and start dealing with their backlog.

Had this very issue attempting to ship an European trophy of red stag horns through Canada. (A fellow servicemember imported to Canada on my behalf, as I took the trophy just prior to PCS). The offices at the border kicked back my package altogether and all that was returned was a piece of paper... perhaps this is the issue...
