Thank You and Happy New Year

Aahh...did you post your grand babe's first elk hunt report here?(y)
I did not. We only had one weekend that she could hunt. I didn’t push her, because elk hunting can be one of the toughest hunts. I believe she will know what to expect next year and hopefully will want to hunt more.

Personally I think it would be interesting to some of the folks here to read about the up and coming hunters and huntresses first hunts whether a morning or afternoon squirrel hunt or a week in the field at home, different state, or in a different country.(y)(y)

Best of luck to her on her future hunts.

Wish you all the best for next year :D Cheers:

Happy New Year!
I hope to read a new hunt report from you in 2020.

accipiter,

I hope to have a couple of good hunt reports. My first will be posted up on my return from South Africa and the second during or after my hunt for bison with gizmo at his ranch.

Excellent! Keep ‘em coming because I enjoy reading ‘em!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
