Talk to me about the 450/400 NE double

Good points.

One could stretch the 404 @2300 to 200 yards if need be. To what range is the 450/400 good for? “I’ve read 100 yards and in”
I took my Buffalo and 4 PGs this past July with mine. Just my 450-400 DR on the trip

Not likely to be an issue as most double shooting is at 50 yards.
Very true. How common is it to find a hand load that works as well as the load used to regulate the rifle?

Doubles on auctions lately have been very cheap. Keep looking.

Are all currently manufactured .450/400 rifles 3”?

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
