Well it just days away time to pull out the passport and get the rifle ammo ready. Bear hunting in remote Canada wilderness camps is a good way to spend spring hunting time. Who else is on thier way to Canada this spring for Bear?

Off to hunt on Saturday (but then I live in Alberta!). Not sure about other parts of Canada, but we are allowed two black bears per year, and if you're a resident, the tags are about C$ 16 each. Odds are always good that both will be filled, and we get to take any coyotes or wolves which might be unfortunate enough to run across our paths at no extra charge! Gotta love it!

Sounds awesome I'm a yank though only get one Bear.

Sakatoon then hour and half in by ATV. Its a remote camp and fun.

Good luck on your hunt. As for me, Im foregoing bear season this year for grander pursuits (Africa). I think next year my Buddy in Victoria (Vancouver Island) will have purchased enough consecutive bear tags to qualify to self Guide a couple Canadian residents. I think Christine and I will have to head out there and bag a couple big costal Blackies!

Northern SK has some big bears and good color phase too. Good choice.

One tries to get to Africa once a year mine is in sept.

Good luck BART, post some pics upon your return. YOU are packing enough gun for Black Bear, Right???:p:p:p

375 H&H my light gun for small stuff!

Funny thing is you think I'm joking.

Good luck Bart! Remember the "sun over the yardarm" thingie! Shoot straight or we wont let you live it down! LOL!

Good thing is I built the ship so the yard arm is pretty low.

375H&H was as big as I thought I could get away with.

If you brought one of "your" big guns along, please take a video of the outfitters face while you uncase it.
That would be hilarious!

Ill have someone record when I uncase my 375 that should get a laugh.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
