SOUTH AFRICA: Back From A Wonderful Journey & A Great Hunt With Wayne Wagner Safaris

Congratulations! That is a very nice buffalo.

After some months of reminiscing I would like to add two more chapters to this magnificent hunt.

Due to very, very much luck I managed to collect two other trophies.

An old Impala we saw grazing in a clearing all alone while driving down a hill. We were able to come close and the shot was at about 80 metres.

An old Kudu bull which was shot threw a hole in the thicket we used for our stalk. An incredible experience. The shot was at about 120 metres.

If you zoom in you might find the hole I used for the shot Picture was taken from the spot where the Kudu stood.

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
