Hey guys! So I've been asking the pros here for some good rifles for a cap buf, and I've chosen one. But I want to have a little fun, but I'm also curious. I will show some images of prehistoric creatures and their size to a human. What calibers do you think it would take to put these creatures down?

Here in Alberta's badlands we have lots of fossil deposits. I've found fossilized skin up to 1/2 inch thick (if that helps with your proposal).

Some geneticist should get on the Jurassic Park theme here....

Do you guys think a Winchester m70 Safari express .416 rem mag could take these down? Bigger? Such as a 500 ne DR. Or maybe a new line of calibers and guns for higher bullet velocities and penetration?

20mm. should be enough !

458 Lott will do the trick

If I were to go conventional I would opt for the .505 Gibbs, but if the Geneva Convention were not a factor I think they could easily be taken down with nude photos of Hillary Clinton, they would find a tar pit to deep six themselves in to get the image out of their head! I actually just ruined my chances of enjoying my supper this evening thinking of this! More Scotch it is so I may sleep tonight! Lol. I'm just kidding I could never do that to any animal.
Salute,
Cody

Learned in "Jurassic World" that you use a .45-70 to hunt this guy.

If it works for this it probably way to big for the animals in question.

Shot placement is critical..... :Woot:

Megaloceros calls for only premium hand knapped obsidian solids, in the classic Clovis projectile profile, powered by an appropriate charge of bicep, tricep&pectoral. Magnum, of course. ;-)

I'm going to puke, just the thought of nude photos of Hilary......yeow!!!

Ok, bow for the Irish elk. 375 H&H for the cave bear, the trex I have to agree with Cody the Hillary nudes should do the job, unless it's a lesbian dinosaur the ever elusive licalotapuss. If that's the case we're in trouble and better have a 505 as backup.

And yes if y'all are wondering the male counterpart of the hillasaurus licalotapuss is the megasaurass libarotachasaur

They're all in the democratasaur family. They went extinct around 100 million years ago due to lack of hunting ability and playing samesies with each other.

Nude photos of Hillary are scary enough, but since Halloween is close. how about photos of Hillary as President???? EEEWWWWWW

K-man,
I don't spook easy, but that sent a shiver up my spine!
She is more fitting for April Fools day, or maybe thanksgiving due to her face looking like a turkey neck!
Cody

K-man if you keep this up I'll have to call in sick to work and I can't afford that!!!

I think you put the wrong critter in the tar pit.

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.
